Based off of the view in the woods behind my home, autumn is a special time to admire the trees in their autumn dress, stretching upwards to the sky, always looking for the sun. Lots of juicy palette knife work. Fun painting.
This piece won First Place in Painting in Wabash Valley Art Guild's Spring Show 2021.
