In early September I saw some grasses holding seedheads, the Black-eyed Susans were blooming here and there, and the tiny flowers were floating at the tips on the White Snakeroot. All things you would certainly come across at some point along the trails of Turkey Run.
So, I composed a sample of them in my clay, pressed them in, poured in the plaster...later, a bit of oils to highlight and a spray of varnish. Here it is, hope you like it as much as I do. Ya, it's not perfect, there were some air bubbles in there, despite me trying to be careful with mixing, pouring, and shaking the whole thing some, but, still very pretty, in my opinion.
